Privacy Policy
Always on Electric

This policy explains what personal information Always On Electric Inc. collects through alwaysonsd.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It takes effect October 27, 2026.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and do the work.

  • Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form or book online, we ask for your first and last name, email address, phone number, service address, a description of your project, and how you heard about us. If you call, email, or text us, we keep what you share in that message.

  • Information about your property. To quote or complete a job we may collect details such as your panel size, photos of your electrical setup, solar or battery equipment models, and permit information.

  • Payment information. If you pay a booking fee or invoice online, a payment processor handles your card details. We do not see or store your full card number.

  • Information collected automatically. When you visit alwaysonsd.com, our website platform records your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, time on site, and the website or search that sent you to us.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your request, schedule visits, and prepare quotes and estimates.

  • Perform electrical, EV charger, solar, and battery service, including pulling permits and coordinating inspections.

  • Send confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups about your booking or job.

  • Invoice you and process payments.

  • Meet licensing, tax, warranty, and legal requirements.

  • Understand how people use our website so we can improve it.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that run our business, including Wix (website hosting, forms, booking, and email), payment processors, and scheduling or invoicing tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.

  • Government offices, such as city building departments and utility companies, when a permit, inspection, or interconnection application requires your name and service address.

  • Subcontractors or manufacturers, when a job or warranty claim needs it.

  • Legal and safety authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights, customers, or property.

  • A buyer of the business, if Always On Electric is ever sold or merged. We would require the buyer to honor this policy.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. We use Wix Analytics and Google Search Console to see which pages people visit, how long they stay, and which searches lead them here. Wix may also record anonymized sessions, such as clicks and scrolling, to help us fix confusing pages. These tools do not tell us who you are unless you submit a form.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the site, such as online booking, from working. You can also use your browser's "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control setting, and we will treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your information.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep customer records, including quotes, permits, invoices, and warranty details, for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet tax, licensing, and legal requirements. Messages from people who never became customers are kept for up to 3 years, then deleted. After that, we delete or de-identify the information.

We use reasonable safeguards, including password-protected accounts and the security features of our website platform. No website or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you these rights:

  • Know. Ask what personal information we collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we share it with.

  • Access. Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.

  • Delete. Ask us to delete your information, subject to exceptions such as records we must keep for tax, licensing, or warranty reasons.

  • Correct. Ask us to fix information that is wrong.

  • Opt out. Ask us not to sell or share your information. We do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of today.

  • No retaliation. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

  •

To make a request, email alex@alwaysonsd.com or call (858) 215-4949. We may need to confirm your identity first, usually by matching details you gave us on a past job or form. We will respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request for you with your written permission.

People in other states may ask us for the same things, and we will honor reasonable requests.

Children, other websites, and changes

Our services are for property owners and managers, and our website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our site links to other websites, such as Yelp. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before sharing information there.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a significant change, we will post a notice on this page.
